The VIB Proteomics Core is moving to the new VIB-UGent FSVM II building in Zwijnaarde

Along with the VIB Center for Medical Biotechnology (CMB), the Proteomics Core is moving soon to the brand new FSVM II building on the Tech Lane Ghent Science Park.

We will be located on the second floor of this building where a state-of-the-art proteomics suite will house our team and mass spectrometry equipment.

Located in the center of the Tech Lane campus and physically connected to the FSVM I building, this new accommodation will foster interactions with other VIB centers and industrial partners located in the Science Park.

Moving of the facility will happen in June 2020. Of course, this operation will affect our routine services. So, please be aware that:

  • Sample preparation will be interrupted on May 15th. Therefore, we will keep accepting samples only until a week later.
  • We expect to restart receiving samples at Zwijnaarde by June 22nd. Our new shipping address is:

  • We hope to resume our sample preparation and mass spectrometry analysis activities in July 1st.
